I’ve seen a lot of crazy stuff since I got clued into the paranormal world. Cannibalistic giants. Necromancers who could raise armies of the undead. Evil nature deities with an appetite for destruction. Old gods, and new.

In that future, humans are no longer at the top of the food chain. I know this because I was there. This crazy fae chronomancer took me there, right after my girlfriend broke up with me by throwing me through the windshield of a rare and expensive British sports car.
And it wasn’t even my car—I’d borrowed it from my best frenemy, Crowley.
Worst. Day. Ever.
The good news is, that future hasn’t happened yet. But it damn sure will come to pass, if I don’t find a way to stop it.
Now I’m chasing after a mad, power-hungry magician who stole an artifact so deadly, it was once used to kill a god. This jackass is in league with a coven of evil vampires, and I have it on good authority that they’re the ones who trigger the apocalypse.
So, all I have to do is fight my way through an army of deadly, elder vamps, and wrench one of the world’s most destructive magic artifacts from a wizard so powerful, he makes me look like a two-bit street magician.
Plus I have to find a way to get my girlfriend back, all while the clock is ticking on a countdown to Armageddon.
I wonder, do they sell apocalypse insurance? Because the way things are looking, I might just want to take out a policy…

Keywords: Colin McCool Mythology New Adult Urban Fantasy Vampires.
New Adult??? So I take it that’s another way of saying that this is a book for immature sheltered and slightly brainwashed 13-15 year olds!?
Sad to see an author who states he is going to write a serious adult book series, barely managing something that most Adults would consider YA in the extreme.

I see you have a problem with many of my uploads. One or two I could understand, even if we don’t agree on the purpose of the ABB comment section, but when you leave negative reviews for all of them I begin to wonder why do you even bother downloading them? Did you even listen to this book? Or are you just a troll that has nothing better to do with his/her time? You whine about the free stuff that I provide to the community but I don’t see you uploading some amazing alternatives.

And FYI, New Adult usually means the main characters are in their early twenties. Young Adult = main characters are teens. Do a little research before making assumptions. I haven’t listened to this book (or any other by this author), but the description on Goodreads says it’s NA, and I have no reason to doubt that. If it’s YA, I believe there’s a more mature way of saying that than the snobbish comment you left above. Just saying. ;)

Oh I am not posting comments on your uploads as a negativ zbatman. - I do not differentiate between uploaders at all.
I actually think your uploading is great!
I only comment on the books themselves furthermore I only apply ratings when I have listened to a book.
Thus the X-no rating.
In this case I have listened to books 0.0, 0.5, 1, and part of book 2 before I lost patience with the authors failing to fullfil his/her stated goal of providing/writing a book for an adult audience. The books having devolved into YA content by book 2.
As to my comment it was a serious question to anyone who’d actually read the rest of the series or
this book, and was prompted by that Keyword marker. - never seen it before but yeah I get the concept (new adult) now that you pointed it out. ;)
As to any snobbish snarky or sarcastic commenting well.. I was somewhat annoyed with the author at the time.. couldn’t help myself.

On the whole I’d guess i’m what many would consider a harsh reviewer or as you carterjsct put it a dick of dicks. Sadly I dont understand why/how you or anyone for that matter would think I was hiding the fact. ;P
@zbatman, dude all your up’s have been quality and that’s no bull, but I will not be using the rating system 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 stars to rate the upload in itself. An upload would in any case either get a 1 or a 5..

Hard to envision the word “serious” pertaining to any book in such a diverse genre; however, I invariably find such books are immensely enjoyable. As to an author’s claim, he intends to write a serious series… Well let’s just say that’s artistic licensing lol
Personally, I love ABB and believe this site to have the best uploaders on any site, M.A.M included.
