The title story is a sequel to Lindqvist’s novel Let the Right One In. Also included is The Final Processing, a sequel to Lindqvist’s Handling the Undead.
In other tales from this collection, a woman finds a dead body and decides to keep it for herself, a customs officer has a mysterious gift that enables her to see what others hide, and a man believes he knows how to deceive death. These are the stories of John Ajvide Lindqvist’s rich imagination. They are about love and death, and what we do when the two collide and the monsters emerge.
The bulk of the stories were originally published in Sweden in 2005 under the name Paper Walls. Quercus published the first English-language release in 2011, with the addition of the title story Let the Old Dreams Die.

I read the first book “Let the Right One In” when it was published here in Sweden, and I was totally lost in this very well written book! We got our own swedish Stephen King! ;) if you don’t have problems with sleeping and like a really different and good story, so go for it! They even made a very bad movie of it, sadly so.

Thanks Gweilo, this author may be downright unpronounceable, but he writes great stories.
There were actually two films, Rudolf - I thought the Swedish adaptation was brilliant. Disturbing and moving.
